Back to the Tame Valley

I paid a visit to the Tame Valley Canal in Perry Barr last week, i used to come here every day but since i have changed jobs i haven't been for a long time. The canal is still there... and has a nicely firm gravel towpath instead of the old mud track there was before.

Its always nice to visit a new stretch of canal, today i visited the Oxford Canal where it runs through Rugby. Taking in a couple of aqueducts, an arm and a wharf so plenty to see and much more to discover so i need to return for sure. You can see my photos here.
