Continuing the Regent's Canal (& Thames)

Last month i walked the Regent's Canal in North London as far as the Islington Tunnel. Returning to the big city last weekend i continued where i left off and made my way along the Regent's (part of the Grand Union) to Victoria Park in Tower Hamlets. You can see my photos here, one of my biggest ever photoshoots! Maybe soon i'll complete the canal and walk the rest of the way to Limehouse.

Also last weekend i took some photos along the Thames near and in St Katherine Docks. Those photos can be seen here too.

New build

Visiting a friend today who works at the University of Birmingham i took this photo of the canal next to the University railway station.

Limit of (some) navigation

Old Bathing Place on the Upper Avon at Stratford, the limit of navigation for larger barges though smaller boats can still on for a while yet.
